Talk2Memo is built with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought.
Audio retention
Your audio files are stored on Talk2Memo's servers for 30 days after recording. After 30 days, the audio is permanently and automatically deleted. The transcript is kept indefinitely (until you delete it).
Audio deletion is automatic and irreversible. If you need to keep a copy of your audio, download it before the 30-day window expires.
Transcripts & AI
Your transcripts are stored securely and are only accessible to you when logged in. They are never shared with third parties and are not used to train AI models.
Deleting your data
You can delete any individual recording (and its transcript) at any time from the Recordings screen. Deleting a recording permanently removes both the transcript and any remaining audio from our servers.
